today was sort of a relax-day. we checked out of the crowne plaza kobe, and checked into our hotel in osaka, the chisun hotel shin osaka, but not before catching this beautiful sunrise :)
so here is where we are now:

but before we headed to our new hotel, we grabbed some lunch, and decided to sit in the park and enjoy hanami with the other japanese people having fun :)

these people picked an awesome spot! they were using the cold water to keep their drinks cold :)
anyway, after lunch we took the 13 minute bullet train ride to our new hotel, and let me just say...we REALLY miss our kobe hotel hahahaha...

pretty tiny! also...not the cleanest
and the bathroom is the size of an airplane bathroom (plus a tiny bathtub)
but they have a hot food vending machine in the hallway!
so we just took it easy tonight. went to the lawson's and the family mart to stock up on some breakfast foods/snackies, then ate some and hung out. tomorrow we will be going to kyoto!
My favorite picture is definitely the one of Erik in the bathtub.

ReplyDeleteMy mom has a picture of my uncle in Germany of him sitting in a bathtub holding a complementary rubber ducky. I think you need to get a rubber ducky (especially a cute Japanese one) and have Erik pose with that in the bath tub!!
